Are you playing Defense of the Ancients? It’s the popular MOD for Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne. Here in the Philippines, lots of people have been playing it. I am not a DotA pro, nor an upper-class gamer. I just play for fun. I never left a game ever. That’s why I hate leavers.

My favorite character is the Bone Fletcher. My most memorable game was when I used Clinkz and I was able to buy 2 Divine Rapiers. I lost them both and I regained one. It was almost an easy win for us but when I lost my Rapiers, the game got a little tight, but eventually we still ended up winning the game.

Are You Watching Dexter?

No, I’m not talking about Dexter’s Laboratory. What I mean is Dexter, the man who loves blood. The man who uses his killer instincts to hunt down and erase the criminals on the planet.

When I first saw the show, I was thinking, will I be able to enjoy this show? Well, given that I don’t really like seeing gory stuff, I thought I might just watch a single episode and forget about the rest. Well I was wrong. The show is great. Dexter is a likeable character. And also, I get to have this nice feeling when he eliminates a criminal, “Another one down.”

Actually, I have only watched a couple of episodes from season one. Probably I’ll watch more episodes when I get to have enough time because I’ve been watching lots of stuff lately.

I am not a pro gamer nor an upper class player of the game. I just play for fun. I never left a game. So that means I am not a quitter or leaver.

My favorite character is theBone Fletcher. The most memorable game that I have played was when I used Clinkz with two Divine Rapiers. The game was pretty one sided and we were about to win but I was killed and they took the Rapiers. Eventually, I regained one Rapier and we ended up winning the game. That was a close call. My team mates were cursing me through out the game because I almost game them a loss.

In coping up with the booming technology, people find it easier scouting for a job using the technology of the Internet. Websites like Monster.ca and Workopolis.com are just among the things that help. Even employers find it more convenient and a lot cheaper to create their websites and post jobs.

However, some employers keep certain positions off the market because they still prefer to find a perfect candidate for the job who is recommended by their ever trusted employees. This is the case wherein networking comes in handy. That is why keeping a relationship with lots of people is really advantageous.

The Ionians

Around 1000 B.C., right after the colonization of the Dorian, the Ionians came into mainland Greece. They traveled from Attica, Anatolia and other territories of Greece. They were the first to arrive mainland Greece who speaks the Greek language. It was believed that the Ionians are the creators and therefore the ancestors of the Mycenaean Culture. Before reaching Greece, the Ionians were under the power of the Persian Empire in Anatolia. When they settled in Greece, their status in the society was somewhat in concession because of their previous relation with Persia which is identified as enemy of the Greeks.

In terms of military, the mainstream of the Greek society consider the Ionians lax in comparison with the Dorian and other Greek military group. By year 450 B.C. during the time of Herodotus, the Greeks formulated a meticulous ethnological theory of its people and the Ionians were able to converge with the indigenous rudiments of prehistoric Greece.

•    The first style Barbie doll has round holes with copper tubes at the bottom of her feet.

Laxative Abuse

People with Eating Disorders commonly resort to laxative abuse as a form of weight control. Unfortunately this is not just irrational but is very dangerous to ones health. Normally, laxatives are used in invigorating the large bowel to unfilled which actually occurs only after the calories from the food we ate have been absorbed all the way through the small intestines. In effect, when you use laxative to control your weight, you are causing your body to lose fluids that will just result to water retention and a manifestation of bloating.

The Pancreas

A glandular organ located just below the stomach and is attached to the small intestine at the duodenum is called pancreas. It is somewhat yellow in color and about 7 inches long and 1.5 inches wide in size. The function of the pancreas is to secrete digestive enzymes and hormones. The two hormones being secreted by the enzyme producing cells in the pancreas are insulin and glucagon. Both hormones control the amount of glucose in the blood since they are directly secreted into the bloodstream. Insulin plays a vital role as it lowers the sugar level of the blood and at the same time increases the glucagon content, also known as stored carbohydrate, of the liver. On the other hand the role of the glucagon is to slowly escalate the sugar level in the blood whenever it goes down below normal level. If the pancreas will not function well, the secretion of the two important hormones, the insulin and the glucagon, is greatly affected. This is how people develop diabetes.

The pancreas also generates enzymes that are premeditated to digest the foods that we ate. Another function of the pancreas is to aid in neutralizing chime and breaking down of proteins, fats and starches in our body.

Starcraft 2 is Coming!

Perhaps this is the most anticipated game of the century. Oh well, at least for Real Time Strategy gamers like me. Starcraft 2 is said to be released this 2008. I just don’t know the exact date. I am planning to gear up for this game. Because of the excellent graphics of Starcraft 2, the minimum system requirements for this hyped up game would most probably reach high levels, specifically with the video card specs.

Starcraft 2 is packed with new characters, new storylines, new graphics and new game strategies. I can’t wait to grab a copy of this game!

A Simple Modern Box

I would love to have a modernist and minimalist home. I have a pretty conservative and formal taste when it comes to interior designing. A minimalist space simply reduces stress. A room that is clutter free provides a more relaxing environment.

Another Planet Beyond

I was just wondering if there is an another planet far beyond our knowledge that houses human beings. What if there’s a Planet Earth II? Come to think of it, a vacation trip on a different planet is surely a fun thing to do. If Planet Earth II exists, will it be a corrupt world? Is it far worse than our current situation here? Which has a higher crime rate? What will be the names of the countries? Or perhaps they don’t have countries over there. Planet Earth II could most probably have a different way of dividing land areas. I have this weird feeling that someone out there might be studying our planet right now. Someone out there might be making a blog post about this thing called Planet Earth. Creatures called aliens might be real. The Strangetown of Sims 2 could be a real life concept too. As crazy as it may sound, if Planet Earth II is real, I would love to travel there and run for president.
